Margaron Dental Center
Aggelos was born and raised in Larissa. He graduated from the Dental School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1998 and then served as a reserve dental practitioner in the Greek army. Since 2000 he has been practicing general dentistry at his own surgery. In 2008 he successfully completed the one-year postgraduate program in UCLA / GIDE implantology under the supervision of Dr Sascha Jovanovic. In the context of continuing education, in 2014, she completed a series of seminars on aesthetic and remedial dentistry and in 2015 she received certification for an annual post-graduate course in endodontics. In the search for new medical innovations he continues to attend seminars and conferences in Cyprus, Greece and internationally.
He is married to Ioanna Orphanou and has two children, Dimitris and Konstantinos.
He likes long distance running, swimming and basketball. He is also an amateur photographer.
Ioanna was born in Famagusta in 1974 and grew up in Nicosia. She graduated from the Pancyprian High School and then studied dentistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki where she graduated in 1997. She then completed the two-year postgraduate program of the Dental Surgery Laboratory and the Pedagogy Special Program. Since 2000 she has practiced dentistry exclusively in children, adolescents and people with disabilities.
She continues to be informed about issues related to pediatric dentistry by participating in conferences in Cyprus, Greece and abroad.
She has presented her work at conferences and workshops in Cyprus, Greece and abroad.
She was a member of the Cyprus Dental Association of Famagusta (2004-2007), the Pancyprian Dental Association (2007-present) and the Council of the Pediatric Dental Association of Cyprus (founding member, 2011-2013), as well.
She is married to Aggelos Tsalavos and she is the mother of two children, Dimitris and Konstantinos.
Ioanna and Aggelos founded Margaron Dental Center where they still work.
Kostas studied dentistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he graduated in 1998. He was awarded the Master of Dental Science degree in Pediatrics in 2000 by the University of Liverpool.
Since then he has been exclusively involved in Pediatric Dentistry.
He is an active member of the Pediatric Dental Association of Cyprus, the Hellenic Periodontics Society and the European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, as well as a member of the International Association of Dental Traumatology and the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry.
